Leapin' Lizards! It's Friday, June 1st

Hello Cherub Followers,

It's Friday, June 1st already! Wowee! We get so busy around here, we don't have enough time to blog! But, here is a catch up of our week. Being it's W, X, Y, Z week, we have brainstormed all sorts of words that started with those letters...water, xray, young, zipper, zebra and more! We made worms of all kinds....both the egg carton kind and the water kind as you can see below in the pictures.

We don't need much to have a good time around here....it could be just water and some paint brushes outside on the concrete on a warm afternoon to see it "disappear" quickly, some egg cartons and paints, dyed macaroni, glue, pinto beans, glitter and more...oh what you can do with it!

Ask your children about our Anatomy Lessons....do you know the difference/location of a femur and a tibia? How about the difference between phalanges and metatarsals? We have been learning about our bodies and that skeletons are not so scary after all!

We made popcicles "from scratch" today, using 100% juice. We poured the juice into the molds and put them in the freezer...wow! magical when it changes from liquid to solid!

Next week, we'll be "faux" camping here at Camp Cherub. We can't wait to camp with your children.

Smiles and Fun,

Miss Sue
