This week at Cherub is Music Week! Rock'n'Roll Monday was so much fun we didnt even have time to blog about it! We were too busy Rockin out to some classic tunes by the Beach Boys, Beatles, Bengals, etc!!
In the morning we made our VERY OWN maracas and tambourines! It sure is amazing what you can do with some dried beans, some dry pasta, jingle bells, toilet paper rolls, paper plates, and LOTS of creativity! Parading around the school with our instruments was a blast! And we really digged learning some far out dance moves!! Then in the afternoon we made our own guitars using shoeboxes and rubber bands! The kids were thrilled! Now we can all slam like ROCKSTARS!!! Ms. Sue was decked out in her 70's Hippie gear and she was so hip! (Although the kids claimed she didnt look at ALL like a hippo! Hee hee!)
And I had fun rocking my slamming 80's gear! So rad! We cant wait for the rest of the fun stuff this week!!
