This afternoon we circled the wagons and sang songs by our (pretend) campfire while we ate some popcorn. We talked about what it was like to travel west in a covered wagon and why the wagons circled up at night.
Tomorrow, we will get to take home our stick/hobby horses, bandanas, cowboy hats, vests as we say goodbye to Western Week. However, we still have "fishing" in the local fishing hole, panning for gold and making baked apples for afternoon snack.
